Infants (6 Weeks - 12 Months)
Through the care of our nurturing, certified, and highly experienced teachers, your baby will receive the necessary guidance to reach various milestones while they are with us. Our program is bilingual, and with a full English and Spanish environment, your child will gain strengthened communication and language skills. Additionally, they will learn about their surroundings, and themselves, and expand upon their social and developmental skills.
Pre-K 1 (12 - 24 Months)
In our Daring Dragonfly class, we work on expanding and progressing their emotional understanding. Our teachers are experienced, compassionate and patient when working with the children to ensure the very best for them. Your toddler will begin to learn independence, as well as develop their social and communication skills.
As they learn more about the world (“become more interested and analytical of their environment”), their curiosity leads to newfound bravery. They carry out cause and effect experimentation all the time, completing an action, and learning the outcome. Learning can become a daring adventure.
Pre-K 2 (24 - 36 Months)
Our curious caterpillars learn much through participation and of course their curiosity. They gain more independence as they desire to do things on their own and see the outcome. Potty training is essential and an important milestone for our little three-year-old class. Their language and social skills are still developing and they will soon want to start taking control of their environment by trying challenging tasks by themselves and planning activities on their own.
Some challenges our Curious Caterpillars might encounter is sharing with others and being a little stubborn (although they have significantly progressed). These little ones just need to be encouraged, and that is exactly our goal as we go through their daily routine in every activity.
Pre-K 3 (36 - 48 Months)
Our Brilliant Butterflies have spread their wings and are ready for whatever comes their way. They are understanding of the environment around them and are open to the peers that surround them. Sharing and communicating with others is a concept they understand, although at times it might seem otherwise. Developmental domain skills (Cognitive, Language, Social/Emotional, and creative) are still growing.
Some challenges our brilliant butterflies might encounter is being insecure physically and emotionally. They can comprehend their emotions but will sometimes feel anxious and stressed in overwhelming social settings. Our focus for this age group is helping them find their security and acceptance in themselves and others.
VPK (4 Years)
Our little VPKs have completed the milestone of going through preschool and learning as much as they have. They are completely accepting of others and enjoy playing with their peers. Helping those around them becomes important to them and will do anything asked as they try to gain more independence.
In this age group, it is our priority to explain equality and humility. This is the last year in preschool before moving on to Kindergarten so at Springview Academy we make sure to make it special and memorable.

Creative Curriculum®
Using a curriculum based on the developmental needs of the children in each room, teachers incorporate current trends in Early Childhood and School-Age Education to support your child in hitting milestones at their own pace. Guided by a research-based program, your child learns through play, experimentation, and testing. Dynamic investigation and opportunities for open-ended exploration foster individual growth and a love of learning.
Montessori Method
Dr. Maria Montessori observed that children immersed in learning were at their happiest. Your child spends their days with specially designed materials, engrossed in self-correcting, progressive works that inspire their innovation, critical thinking, and thirst for knowledge.
Safety
We take the safety of our campuses very seriously. Our school is assessed for safety by the local police department and we have multiple security check points. Rest assured that we have secured front door entry, only authoried admittance to the school, photo identification, electronic records of your child’s arrival and departure, security cameras, and a keypad system for school access.
Family Involvement
We value our families and your preferences are incredibly important to us. We try to cater to your child’s individual needs to the best of our ability. Additionally, our center uses Brightwheel, an app that connects parents and the childcare center by providing digital daily reports, pictures and messages. Parents may phone or e-mail us, or request a parent/teacher meeting.
