Summer Camp - Save Your Spot

Get ready for a summer filled with discovery, creativity, and fun at Sendera Christian Academy! Our 2025 Summer Camp runs from June 2 to August 12 and is open to children ages 5 and up. Designed to provide an engaging and enriching experience in a safe and nurturing environment, our camp offers a wide range of themed activities that spark imagination and support development. Campers will explore the outdoors with Nature Explorers, express their creativity through Artistic Adventures, dive into hands-on learning during Science Safari, and stay cool with Water Play Wednesdays.

Each week also includes Storytime Journeys and Field Day Fun, bringing excitement and teamwork to every camper’s day. Our program runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Weekly tuition is $225, and a $150 per family registration fee secures your child’s spot for the summer. Spaces are limited— enroll and make this summer one to remember!

Infants & Toddlers

Our Infant program provides a loving and secure environment for babies as young as six weeks old. Our classrooms are designed to offer individualized care and safety while creating a stimulating space for exploration and learning. As your child grows, we assess their progress and tailor activities to their developmental stage, ensuring they receive the appropriate support and stimulation.

As children transition into the Toddler program, they are gently introduced to the Frog Street curriculum, which is specifically crafted for young learners. Toddlers begin to engage with basic sign language to support their emerging verbal skills, and are introduced to foundational concepts such as letters, numbers, colors, and shapes through engaging activities. This curriculum helps build a strong foundation for their entry into preschool and the Abeka Book program prepares them for continued learning and development.

Preschool & Pre-K

Our Preschool program lays a strong educational foundation through the Abeka Book curriculum, developed by Pensacola Christian College. This phonics program helps preschoolers learn each letter’s sound and writing, as well as numbers, colors, shapes, and basic scientific principles. Daily activities include engaging with Bible stories that foster self-confidence, independence, respect, and responsibility. By the end of preschool, children are well-prepared with the skills and love of learning needed for Pre-Kindergarten.

In Pre-K, students use the Abeka Book curriculum to focus on reading development. Guided by degreed teachers, they review short vowels and progress to reading three-letter words and sentences with long vowels. Alongside reading, they explore number values and simple addition, engage in Bible lessons, learn social studies, and study science. By the end of Pre-K, students are ready to transition to Kindergarten with a solid academic foundation and a continued enthusiasm for learning.

Private Kindergarten & Private School

Our Private Kindergarten program is dedicated to providing a superior education as children transition from preschool. Our Kindergarten teachers guide students through the Abeka Book curriculum, focusing on reading, writing, and basic math. In addition to these core subjects, students explore history, science, and health, all while receiving a strong foundation in Christian education.

For those seeking education beyond Kindergarten, we offer private schooling with a team of highly qualified teachers, each with a bachelor’s degree and valid certification. Our elementary curriculum continues with the Abeka Book program, supplemented as needed to challenge students with advanced lessons in reading, writing, math, history, science, and health. Students also deepen their Christian faith through memory verses, Bible doctrine, and hymns. This comprehensive approach fosters a rich learning environment where students thoroughly understand their subjects and develop critical thinking skills.

School Age

At Sendera Christian Academy, our school-age program provides the ideal care for your child before and after school, as well as during school breaks. We offer a safe environment with a focus on home-like care, including healthy snacks, a quiet space for homework and reading, and ample time for fun and exercise. Children enjoy a variety of physical activities and educational games, and our students have access to a private computer lab for homework assistance, educational games, and learning about computer use and safety.

The Abeka Book Curriculum

Developed by Pensacola Christian College over 30 years ago, the Abeka Book Curriculum is designed to provide quality, Christian-based education from Preschool through 12th grade. This phonics-based curriculum, used in many Christian schools nationwide, offers a detailed scope and sequence for each grade level, making it easy for teachers and parents to track student progress. The teacher-directed approach involves presenting lessons to the class while students complete assignments to reinforce their understanding.

Frog Street

Frog Street is a dynamic curriculum designed to enrich young children’s learning experiences. Starting in our Infants’ program and transitioning to the Abeka program around ages 2 to 3, depending on each child’s development, Frog Street offers engaging, interactive content tailored to motivate and educate. It also provides professional development and training for teachers, administrators, and coaches, ensuring they are well-prepared to implement the curriculum effectively.

Dance Dreams (18 months – 5 years)

Dance Dreams is a 30-minute class that inspires children to realize their potential and achieve remarkable things through dance

TOT Basketball (3-5 years)

In our energized TOT class, your child will be fully engaged both mentally and physically, learning new ball handling skills and academic concepts each week while boosting their self-esteem

J.D. Sports Gymnastics (2+ years)

J.D. Sports offers a fun and safe gymnastics program, welcoming children aged 2 years and older to join our preschool gymnastics classes

Active Play

Children learn better when they’re actively engaged, which happens when they’re having fun!

Our program is designed to keep bodies, minds, and interest fully involved. Learning through play helps your kids develop muscles and coordination while also helping them learn and develop their social skills.
