Early Toddlers (12 - 18 mo)

Children are like little scientists, constantly experimenting and testing the world around them. By playing peek-a-boo, handling different sensory materials, reading picture books and many other activities, our educators will engage your child and help them explore their world through play.

Letting your toddler express themselves with paints, markers, instruments and storytelling will cultivate the very important skill of creativity. An early appreciation for music and creative activities improves memory, math skills, spatial skills and emotional intelligence.

Pre-schoolers have the freedom to choose what activities they wish to do. Whether they like to build with blocks, create with paints or leaf through books, the children are free to follow their passions and master the skills that come with it.

School Age (K - 2nd)

The teachers at KFKA use innovation, enthusiasm and creativity to approach every subject they teach. This means that the students learn by participating in hands on projects in a small group setting. Small groups get more individual attention from the teachers and promotes group discussion and sharing ideas.

Key Principles

New Experiences

Music, soccer, monthly off-site field trips and visits from local professionals expose children to new sensorial experiences, concrete learning opportunities and social know-how.

Literacy

Our literacy approach ensures children have access to age-appropriate books that are diverse and engaging so they can get the head start on reading that will plunge them into early learning.

Empathy

Empathy is a core value that is taught to each child every day and throughout the day. In all of our activities, the children learn to cooperate, negotiate and compromise.
