Summer Camp - Save Your Spot

Join the Ultimate Summer Adventure at Discovery Clubhouse! Get ready for an unforgettable summer at Discovery Clubhouse in St. George and Washington! Our 2025 Summer Camp kicks off Friday, May 23rd, with full programming starting Monday, May 31st, and running through Friday, August 8th. Designed for children ages 5-12 who have completed kindergarten, our camp is packed with daily field trips and an exciting “Tour of St. George, Cedar, and Washington” theme!

Our core camp hours are 9 AM – 2 PM, with after-care available for families needing extra support. Currently, we offer full-time enrollment only, with part-time options opening mid-July. Pricing is $165/week ($132/week with discounts) or $660/month ($495 with all discounts). Spots fill fast—secure your child’s summer adventure today!

Infants & Toddlers

We offer a safe and nurturing environment where babies can grow and learn daily through exploration and discovery with our support. The early experiences infants have are crucial for healthy brain development.

Our dedicated staff provides personalized attention and interaction, fostering the foundation for intellectual and social skills. Each child’s needs are met by our trained professionals.

Age 2

At this age, your children are discovering new things every day, and in our warm and loving classroom, they will experience a range of activities through discovery, including circle time, art, music and movement, and large motor development, with opportunities for both indoor and outdoor play. Our staff also emphasizes potty training and cooperation, teaching skills like sharing and taking turns. Our balanced classroom approach blends music, art, and movement with essential early education fundamentals, preparing them for preschool. At Discovery Clubhouse, children can choose from independent activities such as language arts, math, manipulatives, blocks, science, dramatic play, and art learning centers. Teachers also conduct small-group activities to build skills and observe behavior. As 2-year-olds start to assert their independence, Discovery Clubhouse fosters their learning, sharing, exploring, personal hygiene, and self-expression. Children also engage in quiet activities, and after a restful lunch, they can visit learning centers or participate in individual or small-group activities until most of the children have awakened.

Ages 3 & 4

Our staff implements a weekly theme that engages children in hands-on learning activities, including circle time, simple math, science, art, music, motor development, nursery rhymes, and fairy tales. We focus on developing social skills, such as working together, taking turns, and resolving conflicts, while encouraging group cooperation and understanding social concepts like “please” and “thank you.” Children expand their vocabulary through repeating words and short sentences, identify numbers, count, and estimate items. They explore the world using all their senses, investigating the physical properties of water, sand, wind, dirt, and paper, and practice problem-solving and making predictions.

Pre-K (5 & 6)

Our staff focuses on developing essential kindergarten skills with your children, introducing a new letter each week and incorporating activities that reinforce it. Children learn to write their names and engage in a diverse pre-kindergarten program that includes computer exploration, art, science, music, motor development, and reading books, nursery rhymes, and fairy tales. We work on strengthening balance, motor skills, and coordination through activities like running, jumping, and throwing. Children also learn to distinguish between fantasy and reality, understand the difference between cooperating and competing, and follow rules. Additionally, we offer a high-quality before- and after-school program for 5- and 6-year-olds.

School Age (7 - 12)

Among the many highlights of our program, we offer instruction before and after school, with transportation provided to and from most schools via Discovery Clubhouse buses. After-school care includes a snack, homework assistance, art, board games, outdoor play, and computer time. We provide extra instruction to support the curriculum learned at school, helping with homework in areas such as spelling, reading, language arts, literacy, math, art, social studies, geography, science, technology, health, self-esteem, and physical exercise. Your kindergartner will develop age-appropriate social, emotional, physical, and academic skills to become a confident, competent learner. At Discovery Clubhouse, we focus on enhancing students’ ability to collaborate with classmates, engage in group discussions, ask thought-provoking questions, set goals, and share experiences. One of our goals is to foster a sense of accomplishment and pride in their efforts, while encouraging team-oriented experiences both on the sports field and in the classroom.

Curriculum

We understand that every child is different, and we use an individualized approach to tailor our programs to your child’s unique learning style. Our curriculum includes monthly and weekly themes that are incorporated through daily circle time, reading, science, music, dramatic play, and art projects.
